Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Valentine Stitching

I just finished a few Valentine theme stitching. I kept on making mistakes and the finishings took forever, here they are:

The new Drawn thread freebie. I used DMC for the greens and random Vikki Clayton Silk. I added a few beads and a pearl crystal heart. I love this type of finishing, but it is very time consuming.

Another emery, I bought a very cute heart charm:

Pam Kellogg Valentine Biscornu, I changed quite a few colors with the design and beads:

A French design, heart shaped pinkeep, this is my first heart shaped finish. Next one will be better. I used Vikki Clayton silk in this piece.

Hope everyone had a great Valentine Day. See you all again in March. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and special thanks for the ones who took the extra time to leave me comments.

Gosh Anita,
Once more you have given us a real feast for our eyes. I love that new DT freebie and have it printed and ready to take on holiday with me. Your emery is beautiful. It's so delicate and dainty. I love the beads and the ribbon. The heart is a really lovely touch.

Your pins are so pretty. The biscornu and French heart are brilliant. I don't know where you find the time to do al this wonderful stitching >)

Goodness Anita, you have been busy and everything is just lovely, as usual. :-) I think you are getting more and more proficient with the finishing you've been doing, and these designs just look so pretty! I love the emeries, and the beads. Now,let me ask you, did you make those heart pins that are near the emery, or did you buy those? They are lovely! I also love the design for the emery what design is that? The rose biscournu is darling, looks a little smaller than some of the other ones, not sure if it is the picture or my eyes ...anyway, it is darling. I love roses, and that is a pretty design. YOu have definitely outdone yourself again with these finishes, I really enjoy looking at them all.

I just love those and would like to try one, but I can't seem to find anything. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right places, though...
