Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

One over one Stitching

I have been sick with flu/cold/allergy on and off for 2 weeks. The last 2 days I have severe stomach pain. I feel like I am falling apart. The worst part was even when I was sick, I still had to get up and take care of the family and my 4 years old son. I just missed my life being single and care free and can sleep all I wanted. I have a few finishes to share, they are all one over one stitching. Most of them are from French designers except the Prairie Schooler one.

LR de Rien, I love her design, simple yet unique, this is called Miniature Tulipe and I stitched it with DMC 115:

LR de Rien, Miniature Au Jardin using Vikki Clayton Silk:

Tralala, another great French Designer:

Have a wonderful weekend. It is 90 degree here in Houston, Texas today. Have a great weekend. Thank you so much for taking your time and visit my blog.

Hi Anita,
hope u are feeling better now.
I have 3children, i truly understands at times when the family is sick and the time we left for ourselves. Luckily, i find xs is destressing and keep my days going being a SAHM.
All your small pin-keep's are so beautiful and lovely!
Get well soon and happy stitching!

Beautiful stitching and finishing Anita. I've recently finished the PS freebie but still need to make it up! Absolutely love your L'R de Rien pinkeeps. Have browsed the net for the designs but have only been able to come up with the designers blog and a freebie, which of course I was thrilled with!! :o)

Do hope you're on the mend and feeling better today!

They all look wonderful, such beautiful colors. So sorry to hear that you've been ill. It is much more difficult being ill when you have family, since as you say when single you can rest and be sick in peace, with family so many times you have to keep doing things when there are children. I hope you're better soon.

Beautiful stitching Anita. Sorry you have not felt well. I know that feeling of longing to have no responsiblities but the grass is always greener they say and I wouldn't be without my family for the world when I really think about it. Try to get some time to yourself somehow. big hugs. xx
