Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Little Stitches Strawberry Emery and accessories designs, emery finishing and ribbon finishing techniques

Thank you so much for all the well wishes in the last post. My son had "croup" about 2 weeks ago for one week. It was very bad with severe coughing and vomitting at nights. There were nights that I only got 2 hours of sleep. It was horrible. He had croup in last November and ended up in the emergency room. We did take him to the doctor this time as well but they did not give him any medication because it was a viral infection. It was heart breaking to see what my son went through with the cough. He is doing better now and he has lost a few pounds. There is so much to be thankful when a kid is healthy.

I have started a new venture in the last 2 months. For those that have been visiting on my blog know how much I enjoy stitching "smalls". This has lead to the start of my design company, Little Stitches. The first series of design are emeries, biscornu, scissor fobs and pinkeeps. The the designs are delivered in downloaded PDF format. The designs are charted with Pattern maker and converted to microsoft word and then PDF format. The chart is just like a regular chart with a color cover front page with all the info to stitch the design. I am working on the Little Stitches web site. I have 200 pages of info to read and it will take me at least one more week to get it going. In addition to my designs, I am also carrying selective fabric, special threads and other accessories. As my business grows, I will be adding more items. Special orders are welcome, any item that is carry at http://www.wichelt.com/. I will also have more wholesale companies later on.

I am going to have a pre web site purchase in my blog till my web site is ready. I have listed all the fabric, threads, and designs on today blog entries. If you have any question, please feel free to email me at anitalittlestitches@gmail.com. I have signed up with Pay Pal web payment standard where I can take all credit cards and pay pal account. You will email me what you like to purchase through email and let me know your pay pal account. (Please also indicate if the payment will be bank transfer or credit card.) I will then invoice you with a total amount and shipping. All the downloaded chart will be emailed to your email account within 24 hours after receiving the payment. Money orders and checks will be accepted as well. Orders paid by check will be held until the check clears. Returns of downloaded charts, threads, fabric will not be accepted. If you have any problem with the order, please contact me within 72 hours upon receipt of your purchase.

Pre web site purchase:
Please email with the the following info:
- Items that you would like to purchase
- Are u paying with Pay pal credit card, pay pal bank transfer, or credit card
- your mailing address so I can figure out shipping
- what email address to send for payment

Here is the email that I received from Doris in SC, she is my first customer:

"I have downloaded all of the charts and instructions. I wanted to tell you how impressed I am. The instructions are easy to follow, the charts are clear and precise. The pictures are beautiful. I like tosee what the finished project will look like.. I have a brand new 3-ring binder just for your charts. Your whole *operation* looks very professional. I think these charts are just the beginning of a successful designing career."

As you can tell I have been so busy stitching and finishing all these designs. I even dreamed about stitching them when I was sleeping. Looking forward to this new move in my life. I have been very fortunate to have some very special friends that help me with this new venture. Cathy G in Ohio help me with the pattern maker software. I can't thank her enough for her help and expertise and the time she spent helping with other aspects as well. Cindy in IL help me in the word document, blogs and editing and exchanging ideas. Another friend of mine, Aida, in California has also help me with the editing area of my web site and so on. A special thank to Pelin Tezer who help me with lots of ideas and PDF format and questions.I appreciate all of you that made the Little Stitches happened.

I have not been on the computer too much in the last 3 weeks. I will be catching up with all the blogging reading soon. Please feel free to email me. If you leave a message on this blog and want to get back with you, please leave me an email address. Thank you for visiting my blog and all the comments are welcome.

I have often enjoyed your blog. I can't read the first part because the 'live feed' information overlaps the blog information. I thought you might like to know. - Taffy
