Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Little House Needle work Rose Sampler

This is my first and my favorite Little House needlework chart. I have stitched it once as a needleroll for a friend's birthday. This time I use the chart to stitch up a set of smalls. I have been experimenting different ribbon materials for the Ribbon Rose pins and I used 3 different kind in the mattress pin keep here. For the mattress pinkeep, where there are "dents", I put beads on the front and the back, the border is stitched one over one.

Have a great 4th of July and I will be stitching a few patriotic designs in this month.

Wow Anita, what a beautiful set of 'smalls' Your work truly is exceptional. I love the little fob with the roses at each corner. Did you make those out of ribbon and do you make your own cord? It's really lovely and a perfect match.

Very pretty smalls! I love those little rose pins too. I keep meaning to look for some fancy ones, but never seem to get around to it. I think a trip to 'ebay' is what's needed right now, lol
