Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Ribbon Rose pin enhanced Biscornu

One of my favorite designs are floral. Many times it so hard to find the matching and the right size buttons for biscornu. So I come up with a new idea. Instead of putting button in the middle of the biscornu, I am using ribbon rose pins. I made these pins with ribbon. Let me know what you think.

A french designer, Atalie, month of April Biscornu. If you love french knots, this is a perfect pattern for you:

Atalie, month of June. You won't get bored with this design, lot of speciality stitches:

The last one is from Just nan Garden Maze design:

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and left me wonderful comments. I have a lot of new people stopping by as well. Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend. I received my new mini sewing machine but it has been still sitting in the box for a week now and I will open and take a look at it soon. It is going to be rainy here in the Houston area for a next few days due to a tropical storm.

Oh my goodness! These are postively beautiful! My favorite is the pink and purple one (in the middle). You do such lovely work!!!
I didn't realize you were in the Houston area. We are considering moving there. My best friend and her fiancee live there and she did tell me about the tropical storm when we spoke yesterday. I hope you stay safe (and dry).

Anita,
I love the new biscournu's you've made, they are just lovely, the purple and Pink, Lavender one is my favorite...That is just so pretty!!! I am amazed at your skill making those roses...I am going to have to learn how to do that.
One good thing about getting rain like that is it's perfect weather for sitting and stitching, reading a book, or baking homemade bread and a good pot of soup. I love when the weather gets colder here and I can do that sort of thing.
I love looking at your blog, it is just so colorful and so many great projects! You've outdone yourself this year my friend! :-)

I love these ribbon pins you've done - how on earth do you do that?

I agree, I've seen many nice biscornu with awful buttons...I spend a lot of time on the buttons, myself.

You are very talented, and it's always a pleasure to see what you've done.
