Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Floral theme Pinkeeps

I am in a roll with one over one stitching. I just love the details. If you have never tried it, do try it with a small project with no speciality stitches or back stitching, you will be amazed with the effect. The first pinkeep is stitched one over one and the design is Little house Needlework "Garden Pleasure". I just love her unique designs, simple yet very pretty with her choices of colors. She is very creative and she is well liked by stitchers all over the world. The second pinkeep is Bird of a Feather "Bloom where you plant". I think this is my first Bird of a Feather piece.

Thank you so much again for your nice compliment about my rose ribbon pins and biscornu and stopping by and reading my blog. Have a great long weekend for the US stitchers.

Nice pieces. Over one does make it so detailed. I like the look, but not too much into doing it.

I totally agree with the 1 over 1 stitching and do it quite a lot. I've had about 4 projects posted in as many days on my blog using 1 over 1...and the higher count you use, the more beautiful and delicate they become. Yours are beautiful and I had planned on doing the exact same thing (Garden Pleasures) as what you executed. Superb Anita!

I've tried 1 over 1 on linen and wasn't happy. Maybe I'm not doing it right.
