Anita's Stitching

I have begun stitching in 1978. For the last 10 years, my stitching has been with "smalls". I love to use beads and ribbons and always looking for new ways for finishing. My email addresses is anita@anitalittlestitches.com.

Acorn Biscornu, and Fall pinkeeps

I stitched 2 projects but decided to drag out some of the old Fall theme stitched pieces for finishing. Finally, the weather in the Texas area is cooling off a little. The ragweed should be gone in one week or so. All the pins that I am using in my pinkeeps this time were hand dyed by me. I just love experimenting the colors. The orange pins actually have some "white" in them but I don't think the pictures will show those little details.

Cricket Collection Acorn Biscornu. I stitched it in 18 counts linen fabric because of the size of the design. If I stitch this one over one, it will be too small on 28 counts fabric. 18 counts is the perfect size for this cute Biscornu and I was able to find a button to match.

Blackbird Design "Autumn Bouquet" and I only stitch part of the design and put it into a box.
The picture is not too clear when taken with the glass on. I bought the wood box at Hobby Lobby.

Lizzie Kate Fall Pinkeep

Prairie schooler Fall pinkeep, I changed the color of the Bird, I just don't like Black bird.

Heart in Hand Thankful pinkeep:

Heart in Hand Autumn Pinkeep, this is my favorite:

This is from a Pine Mountain pillow design:

A cute Halloween design from Sweetheart tree:

I still have a few more pieces to do the finishing and I will post the pictures next week. Thank you so much for the wonderful comments you all left on my blog. Special thank you for the bloggers that awarded me with "You make me smile award". .....Suzanne, Vonna, Lesley, and Lelia.
Have a great Halloween. I am taking my son out in the neighborhood tonight. He is going to be Bob the builder. This coming Saturday, there is a big Quilt show in the Houston area and I am going there with a new stitcher friend that I have never met. Silver needle will have a booth there as well. I am looking forward to this special event and this will be my first time going there. Anyone else is going?

Wow Anita! You've been in a finishing frenzy and all of them so lovely.
It would be difficult to choose a favourite but I do love the acorn biscornu.
All of the fabrics you chose for backing these pieces are so nice.
As always a real treat to view your lovely finishes.

All those finishes are so lovely - eveything matches the stitching so nicely, yet doesn't detract from it.

It's very hard to pick a favourite, but I think I like the Acorn Biscornu best, although I have some of the other designs in my stash to stitch! LOL

Wow - so many pinkeeps - do you keep them all yourself (and have an enormous collection, LOL) or are they all distributed among friends and family?

And just to let you know, Starflake is designed by Patricia Ann Designs (http://www.patricia-ann-designs.com).
