Floral theme Pinkeeps

I am in a roll with one over one stitching. I just love the details. If you have never tried it, do try it with a small project with no speciality stitches or back stitching, you will be amazed with the effect. The first pinkeep is stitched one over one and the design is Little house Needlework "Garden Pleasure". I just love her unique designs, simple yet very pretty with her choices of colors. She is very creative and she is well liked by stitchers all over the world. The second pinkeep is Bird of a Feather "Bloom where you plant". I think this is my first Bird of a Feather piece.

Thank you so much again for your nice compliment about my rose ribbon pins and biscornu and stopping by and reading my blog. Have a great long weekend for the US stitchers.

Ribbon Rose pin enhanced Biscornu

One of my favorite designs are floral. Many times it so hard to find the matching and the right size buttons for biscornu. So I come up with a new idea. Instead of putting button in the middle of the biscornu, I am using ribbon rose pins. I made these pins with ribbon. Let me know what you think.

A french designer, Atalie, month of April Biscornu. If you love french knots, this is a perfect pattern for you:

Atalie, month of June. You won't get bored with this design, lot of speciality stitches:

The last one is from Just nan Garden Maze design:

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and left me wonderful comments. I have a lot of new people stopping by as well. Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend. I received my new mini sewing machine but it has been still sitting in the box for a week now and I will open and take a look at it soon. It is going to be rainy here in the Houston area for a next few days due to a tropical storm.

La D Da Polly Wolly Small set

I stitched the pinkeep and the fob one over one. I did the "Blue Version". I just love this design and I have modified the fob design to match the pinkeep. I used the DMC threads.

Hancock Janome "sew mini" enabling

I have a regular Kenmore sewing machine from Sears since 1987. I did not know how to sew and there was a problem with the machine day one on the Reverse button. It is a push button for reverse stitches. It always jammed on the bottom stitches when I used it. It is very irriating. I have not taken the time to take it to the repair shop yet and I know it will cost me at least $50 to have it to be looked at. I fell in love with the happy lite Mini sewing machine on Meari blog and have been wanting one.

A good friend of mine Cathy was telling me about this great Hancock Janome "Sew Mini" on their web site. Guess what happened today.... not only the machine is on sale for $39.99 (regular price is $59.99), it also offers free shipping and an additional 10% off for TODAY only.

I just can't NO for this great price and offer and I ordered one. I am so thrilled about it.

Thank you Julie for teaching me how to do the "hyperlink" trick.

Have a great weekend.
