New scissors and a new initial beaded scissors fob finish

The new beaded scissors fob is so easy to make. It took less than 30 minutes and I do carry the accessories to make one under "beading". They are perfect for yourself and as gifts. Here are 3 of my new finishes...

The first set is using ThreadworX thread to stitch. The alphabet "A" is from Sajou alphabet series and the pincushion is from my aunt's attic designs.

This one is from M design, I used Valdani and DMC threads and I changed a
few things on the piece to reflect my taste...

I have stitched 3 pincushion using Valdani Threads. The first 2 are blackbird designs and the third one is by Threadwork Primitive.

2 Barbara Ana Kokeshi Biscornu Finishes

I just finished stitching 2 Barbara Ana designs. I also have a picture of the Classic Scissors Limited Christmas Edition RED/GOLD scissors that will be available around November 10.(the scissors in the second biscornu). I will have more finishes to post next week.

2 freebie designs stitched with Caron Wildflowers and Valdani 6 strand floss and finished as Biscornu

I have fun playing with overdyed floss. The first biscornu is stitched with Caron Wildflowers "Fiesta", the designer is Judy Dixon, and the design is "Pearl Drops".The second biscornu is stitched with Valdani 6 strand overdyed floss "M1002 Water Lilies", the designer is Elizabeth Almond, and the design is "Lilac Time". I made the button in in the middle and it turned out so pretty.

This is a Blue Ribbon freebie and I stitch it with Sulky Blendable Autumn, a friend of mine is going to help me with the finishing, I will post a picture when she get done:





This is a design by Periphaeria "Ring of Roses", I used Caron Wildflower threads:




This is a design by Emie Bishop "Rose Quartz Flower", I changed the colors of the DMC threads as well as adding the 4 corners motif to make it into a biscornu:

A few finishes to share with Dinky Dyes Silk and ThreadworX

These are my Valentine Stitching in February, I just did the finishing today. February was not the best month. My son and husband was sick with stomach virus. Then my son's coughing issue resurfaced after I thought the new medication is helping. He has a lot of "drainage" at night and it caused him to cough. He was doing better last November and December but now it seems it started all over again with this strange cold weather in Texas. Generally, the weather is pretty warm by now, but it is not. I don't mind the cold weather except my son gets sick during winter months. I don't like not having sleep at night.

The first 2 pieces are stitched with Dinky Dyes silk Cherry Ripe. The floss ring tag is stitched one over one. The biscornu turned out to be very pretty as well.

I picked this motif from the Ackworth Quaker booklet using ThreadworX Kaleb's Cherry Patch and finished it as a floss ring tag. I stitched it one over one. I just love the details of stitching one over one.

Anita's November Stitching and finished pieces

Life has been very busy with the online business and my 6 years old son. We have signed up Karate and Boy Scout for him this year. He is also having homework every day and reading assignment.
